*This is an Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid a salary on a monthly basis and are not eligible to receive overtime pay.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Plans, coordinates, and is accountable for administrative, financial, program development, and/or grant and contracts administration activities for a large department/school or division. Performs financial analysis and may handle human resources related issues. Creates, implements, evaluates and revises budgets, policies, and procedures relating to operational and financial activities and may have administrative oversight for data processing, facilities management, and research administration, including signature authority. Serves as a liaison to other schools and departments concerning activities and initiatives involving the school or division. Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting or related field. Seven years professional business or management experience which includes three years of experience in an academic or healthcare environment. Positions in this classification may require previous supervisory experience.
