*This is a Non-Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid an hourly pay rate, on a bi-weekly basis, and are eligible to receive overtime pay for any hours worked over 40 in a work week.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Under direct supervision, performs processing of clinical sample and laboratory testing procedures of high complexity. Records pertinent lab data on the appropriate form or patient chart to ensure accurate and complete documentation of lab findings. Prepares reagents and maintains laboratory equipment and supply stocks in accordance with established protocols. Cleans and sterilizes work surfaces, equipment, and instruments. Maintains required record keeping. Adheres to lab policies and procedures. Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry or related field, or an equivalent combination of education, experience and training. One year of laboratory experience is preferred. |
