*This is a Non-Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid an hourly pay rate, on a bi-weekly basis, and are eligible to receive overtime pay for any hours worked over 40 in a work week.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Under general supervision, assists the veterinarians and researchers in surgery and radiology, animal care, treatments, and diagnostic and preventative procedures. Maintains medical records and inventory. Provides non-surgical technical assistance to researchers as directed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma or equivalent. Three years of experience as a veterinary technician OR a high school diploma or equivalent and four years of experience as an animal care technician OR graduation from a two year veterinary technician program and one year of veterinary technician experience. |
