*This is an Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid a salary on a monthly basis and are not eligible to receive overtime pay.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Executes graphic design from concept to final final publication or production. Assists in managing the design of an array of collateral material for publications, web projects, events, and three-dimensional installations such as exhibits and signage, if applicable. Participates in all launch meetings of projects and manages client contact through the production process. Makes recommendations for needed software/hardware and other resources. Makes regular reports to the creative director. Ensures a team approach to project completion. Monitors project budgets and ensures on-time delivery of client jobs. Assists in staff training. Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field and five years of experience utilizing appropriate software. An advanced knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator is required. Positions in this classification may require knowledge of web-design programs such as Macromedia Dreamweaver, BBEdit, Adobe ImageReady, and Macromedia Flash. If the position is associated with facilities, infrastructure, and 3D design work, software proficiency in current CAD modeling software (such as Sketchup and Autocad) is required.
