*This is a Non-Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid an hourly pay rate, on a bi-weekly basis, and are eligible to receive overtime pay for any hours worked over 40 in a work week.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Writes and edits educational, research, and public service news for a specialized area. Conducts interviews and researches topics for publications. Sets editorial and production schedules. Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree in communications, journalism or a related field. One year of experience in publishing, journalism or a related field.
