*This is an Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid a salary on a monthly basis and are not eligible to receive overtime pay.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Develops and implements the editorial, design and/or other creative components of publications programs for the University and for specific colleges and schools. Assists in strategic public relations planning and implementation for clients, especially in the areas of print and electronic publications. Develops relationships with campus clients and serves as an integral part of the publications production team by supervising editors and/or designers, along with various other participants in the publications production cycle. Helps articulate and promote University publications policies and standards to the campus.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree in communications, graphic design, journalism, English or a related field, and seven years of related professional experience, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
