*This is a Non-Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid an hourly pay rate, on a bi-weekly basis, and are eligible to receive overtime pay for any hours worked over 40 in a work week.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Moves various materials as directed and performs set-ups for special events. Loads and unloads office furniture and laboratory equipment. Operates hand and power tools. Reads blueprints to identify supplies and equipment needed to meet the specifications for moves and set-ups. Adheres to OSHA standards and other applicable federal and state regulations when working with hazardous chemicals and power equipment. Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to read, write and follow instructions. One year of experience in materials movement. Some positions within this classification may require a valid Georgia driver's license and an insurable driving record. Positions within this classification may have various lifting requirements up to 100 pounds and require the ability to bend, stoop and twist.
