*This is a Non-Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid an hourly pay rate, on a bi-weekly basis, and are eligible to receive overtime pay for any hours worked over 40 in a work week.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Works to address and meet the needs of all Dobbs University Center's (DUC) guests and customers. Responsible for ballroom setups, meeting room setups, and audio/visual support. Works to ensure event/room set-ups are completed accurately, safely, and efficiently. Typical setup activities include setting up tables, chairs, additional equipment from staging department or rental companies, and taking inventory in the DUC and Cox Hall ballroom. Maintains and monitors the temperature in ballrooms and meeting rooms, and maintains cleanliness and accurate inventory of assigned storage areas. Cleans all event spaces, including vacuuming, carpet cleaning, and cleaning of furniture. Monitors, organizes, and maintains the DUC loading dock for use by building tenants. Maintains a clean and safe user-friendly environment for clients/customers. Regularly reviews the meeting services operations report. Communicates event and facility-related information to various center staff including Building Manager, Maintenance, Building Services and Reservation/Meeting Services. Performs other related duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma or equivalent and two years of related experience. Candidate must have a valid Georgia Driver's License and an insurable driving record. Candidate must have the ability to lift 100 + pounds.
