*This is a Non-Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid an hourly pay rate, on a bi-weekly basis, and are eligible to receive overtime pay for any hours worked over 40 in a work week.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Provides general maintenance and assists others in semi-skilled maintenance and craft work activities. Assists journeyman mechanics/experienced craft workers in maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment, machinery or building systems and in performing carpentry, plumbing or general labor. Operates hand and power tools. Takes required precautions when working with hazardous materials and power equipment. Drives utility vehicles to and from worksites. Responsible for daily inspections, maintenance, safe operation, and safeguarding against vandalism or theft. Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma or equivalent. Six months of experience in a relevant trade. A valid Georgia driver's license and an insurable driving record. Positions in this classification may have various lifting requirements up to 100 pounds and require the ability to bend, stoop and twist.
