*This is an Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid a salary on a monthly basis and are not eligible to receive overtime pay.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Manages administrative activities associated with grants in non-research areas of the university. Guides business units in the development of budgets and determination of project funding needs. Oversees financial and non-financial pre-and post-award activities. Customizes budget formats to accommodate donor and project requirements. Develops financial reports and closeout documents. Performs comparative analyses and adjusts entries for grant-specific variances. Ensures funding agencies receive required documentation. Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree and three years of experience working with grants or in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Knowledge of various personal computer software applications. DATE CREATED/MODIFIED/REVIEWED: 07/07/06 DRS
