*This is a Non-Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid an hourly pay rate, on a bi-weekly basis, and are eligible to receive overtime pay for any hours worked over 40 in a work week.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Provides administrative support for Human Resource functions. Responds to internal and external policy and procedure inquiries, visitors and phone calls. Advises or refers individuals to the appropriate staff for guidance on human resources issues. Maintains files and records. Utilizes database management, word processing, spreadsheet and other computer applications. Audits operational reports for necessary corrections and updates. May maintain employee schedules and leave balances. May process required payroll paperwork. Ensures the completeness and accuracy of employee transactions. Coordinates and implements employee related programs, committees and functions. Coordinates and schedules meetings, interviews, appointments and special events. May prepare and make presentations at various departmental meetings and special events. Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Two years of college and three years of related experience which includes one year of Human Resources experience, or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training. (For positions in this classification that support multiple departments, experience related to the supported departments may be considered relevant).
