*This is an Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid a salary on a monthly basis and are not eligible to receive overtime pay.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Primary duty is to design, recommend, test, and/or document systems or key activities related to systems administration. Develops, coordinates and maintains a schedule of system information back-up and disaster recovery procedures. Analyzes and prepares written interpretations, statistical and other reports for departmental use and communication to users regarding system utilization, security and configuration. Instructs users on correct procedures for self-diagnosis, reporting of problems and Local Area Site Management. Provides appropriate systems documentation and technical advice to support staff and users. Designs and maintains server infrastructure. Tests and implements security patches and procedures for servers and workstations. Researches, recommends, tests and plans for the implementation of new hardware and software for stand alone and networked computer systems. Analyzes current systems, consults with users to identify future needs, and plans for best replacement technology. May develop and write web or client server applications. Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Five years of information technology experience OR a bachelor's degree and three years of information technology experience.
