*This is a Non-Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid an hourly pay rate, on a bi-weekly basis, and are eligible to receive overtime pay for any hours worked over 40 in a work week.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Performs complex bibliographic management operations (e.g. searching, checking the series and name authority files, and reviewing the cataloging record) using a specialized knowledge of online databases, microcomputer applications, and complex reference tools. Creates permanent machine-readable bibliographic and authority records by verifying and modifying information on cataloging records contributed to a national database by the Library of Congress. Processes added copies and volumes for titles previously cataloged. Records changes on bibliographic records to reflect new information related to volumes published since the title was first cataloged. May hire, train, and provide on-going performance feedback to student staff. May act as a resource person for other staff. Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree in a related field. Two years of related experience. Positions in this classification may require computer skills, special skills, or proficiency in a foreign language.
