*This is an Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid a salary on a monthly basis and are not eligible to receive overtime pay.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Oversees the operation of the conservation laboratory including supervision of all necessary treatment, repair, and restoration of objects. Coordinates with curators, the registrar, and the exhibition design department to establish procedures for storage, exhibits, and loans that will ensure the safety and well-being of the collections. May teach university class on conservation. Supervises student interns. Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A master's degree in conservation or a related field. Three years of related conservation experience beyond the internship level which includes administrative or supervisory experience.
