*This is an Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid a salary on a monthly basis and are not eligible to receive overtime pay.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Provides health care services to patients under the direction and responsibility of a physician. May assist in performing the physical examination of patients or research participants. Compiles patient medical data including health histories and the results of physical examinations. May administer or order diagnostic tests and may assist in interpreting test results. May perform therapeutic procedures. Develops and implements patient management plans, thoroughly documents observations, and records progress notes.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing or Physician Assistant program. Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state of Georgia or licensed to practice as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia and certified as a Nurse Practitioner.
