JOB DESCRIPTION: Manages the daily operations and service delivery for an Enrollment Services Department. Serves as the lead staff for data processing and/or PeopleSoft functionality. Evaluates alternatives to general business practices and determines methods to streamline and/or automate processes. Collaborates with staff and departmental customers to conduct a business analysis and identify business objectives and requirements. Collects and analyzes data and recommends technology plans and strategies. Participates in the development and monitoring of the department budget, makes recommendations to address budget concerns and authorizes expenditures. Develops and prepares reports. Participates in the development of departmental goals and objectives consistent with the strategic plan. Serves as a liaison to other Enrollment Services Departments and business units at Emory. May represent the department at meetings and conferences. Serves as a liaison to outside vendors and service providers. Hires, supervises and evaluates a large staff. Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree and three years of operations management, business analysis, budget management or related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Previous managerial or supervisory experience. Experience in admissions, financial aid or registration strongly preferred.
