JOB DESCRIPTION: Markets a school's students and alumni to employers nationwide with responsibility for designing, developing and executing marketing initiatives to expand recruitment programs. Directs staff and manages the Career Services Department in the absence of the Assistant Dean. Enlarges the employer base in geographic markets of interest to Emory students, and recruits employers for participation in job fairs in these markets. Develops and maintains strong relationships with current and potential employers. Counsels students and alumni. Develops and implements programs for student self-assessment and career development skills to include resources supportive of student job search efforts. Assists with budget preparation and compiles statistics. May hire, train and supervise staff. Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A graduate degree, preferably related to the school's course of study. Five years of career counseling, marketing or related experience, including supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Frequent travel required. |
