*This is a Non-Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid an hourly pay rate, on a bi-weekly basis, and are eligible to receive overtime pay for any hours worked over 40 in a work week.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Works with the Emory Police Department to provide facility security related services, including exterior campus facility patrols, closing or locking facilities after normal business hours and checking previously secured facilities. Documents and reports maintenance and/or safety issues. Provides motorist assistance services such as jump-starts and unlocking doors. Directs traffic patterns related to special events, construction, vehicle accidents, and emergencies. Provides safety escorts and assists with identifying maintenance needs of emergency phones on campus and monitoring CCTV cameras, as requested. Provides information and directions to visitors and members of the Emory community. Communicates traffic and security information or concerns to police department. Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma or equivalent. One year experience in parking, law enforcement, security, or customer service. A valid Georgia drivers' license and an insurable driving record. |
