JOB DESCRIPTION: Facilitates the educational mission for the Goizueta School of Business (GBS) by identifying opportunities to improve the association between theory and practice of management, by developing and advancing sustainable programs and associated resources. Serves as key member of GBS' degree program team. Creates and sustains the continued growth of Management Practice (MP) courses for Fulltime and Evening MBA programs. Leads delivery of structured problem-solving course components of MP programs. Directs work of the delivery team and project sourcing for all components of MP for the Evening MBA Program. Partners closely with faculty delivering MP electives in the Full Time MBA Program. Develops and sets priorities for GBS' MP-related professional skills programs by benchmarking practices at other schools, representing GBS at relevant AACSB and related conferences, and tracking relevant research about market needs. Supports GBS' strategic goal of maximizing benefit from investments in professional skills programs by partnering with, and serving as a resource to, GBS leadership and faculty, external stakeholders, governance committees, and internal business units. Serves as the public face for GBS' MP programs to leverage MP programs in support of current and graduating students. Develops and sustains strong relationships with alumni and the business community, raising resources for GBS, and contributing to other general efforts to market GBS. Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A master's degree and 10 years of consulting, project management or related experience OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. PhD is preferred. Demonstrated project management skills and experience creating, managing, and delivering programs related to problem framing and problem solving, preferably in higher education and/or corporate talent development. |
