*This is a Non-Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid an hourly pay rate, on a bi-weekly basis, and are eligible to receive overtime pay for any hours worked over 40 in a work week.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Coordinates or assists in clinical or research activities related to the psychological evaluation and treatment of patients or research participants. Provides psychological, physiological and/or behavioral assessments of patients. May conduct tests for cognitive abilities. Recruits, screens, and conducts clinical evaluations of potential participants; assists in determining their eligibility to participate in clinical trials. Collects, compiles and analyzes data related to various psychological or behavioral studies. Extracts statistical data and prepares reports. Conducts interviews and schedules regular visits with study participants and their caregivers. Educates patients concerning research procedures, investigational devices, and drugs. May provide instruction and advice concerning post-study therapy and behavior management. Maintains accurate and complete documentation on the delivery of mental health care services for each study participant. Makes referrals to mental health professionals or services. May dispense medication in compliance with research protocols. Maintains required documentation. Attends and participates in regular administrative and clinical staff meetings. Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree in psychology, social work or a related field. Two years of directly related experience.
