*This is an Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid a salary on a monthly basis and are not eligible to receive overtime pay.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Provides emotional support and psychosocial counseling to patients. Assists in a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care. May identify discharge needs and arrange for comprehensive services for patients following discharge from the hospital. Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in social work, psychology or a related field. Two years of social work/social services experience. Positions within this classification may require licensure as a licensed professional counselor (LPC) or licensed social worker.
