*This is a Non-Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid an hourly pay rate, on a bi-weekly basis, and are eligible to receive overtime pay for any hours worked over 40 in a work week.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Pressure wash compounds, caging, structures, and anything associated with outdoor animal enclosures for up to four (4) hours a day. Rake debris in compounds Hand scrub structures within outdoor enclosures. Performs specialized husbandry work, including the cleaning of hard-to-reach areas within cages and runs, and indoor enclosures. Pressure washes outdoor runs. Assist with rodent exclusion or rodent control measures, to include setting, removing, cleaning traps, filling rodent holes, and disposing of deceased rats. Cleans drains as well as unclogs stopped up drains. Performs general grounds maintenance such as removing fallen trees, branches, etc. Assists Facilities with small maintenance repairs. Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma or equivalent. Two years of compound maintenance experience. The ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Positions in this classification may require a valid Georgia driver's license and an insurable driving record.
