JOB DESCRIPTION: Trains animal care staff on standard operating procedures and coordinates or conducts continuing education activities. Assists in managing an animal care program that maintains proper housing, sanitation, nourishment, and humane handling for a large and diverse population of laboratory animals. Supervises animal care staff.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: An associate degree. Five years of related experience which includes four years of laboratory animal care experience and three years of supervisory or training experience. Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
