*This is a Non-Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid an hourly pay rate, on a bi-weekly basis, and are eligible to receive overtime pay for any hours worked over 40 in a work week.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Assists faculty with in-person and online classroom management for Goizueta Business School classes. Provides any in-person student with a mask and hand sanitizer (if needed). Takes and keeps record of attendance. Provides faculty with any AV/technical support and escalates to Goizueta Technology Services, when needed; communicates proactively with Goizueta Technology Services (IT). Monitors participation in the classroom and online. Helps answer questions; helps with calling on those who raise their hands. Acts as the co-facilitator for the online portion of the class. Makes sure online students display their full name in Zoom sessions. Is responsible for muting all online students, when needed, to eliminate background noises. Act as the Host of Zoom meetings and may manage Zoom breakout rooms. Ensures Zoom session is recorded and posts the recording to the appropriate Canvas class site. Assists faculty with advancing slides, creating/administering polls, and troubleshooting any technical difficulties. Sanitizes lectern and technology between classes. Monitors class time and keeps faculty on class schedule. Performs other related duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma or equivalent and one year of work experience in an office or university setting. General knowledge with being a Zoom host and experience scheduling a Zoom session is preferred. Awareness and basic knowledge with using classroom technology. Must have completed the Emory COVID-19 safety and awareness assessment. Basic notetaking and office assistant skills.
