*This is a Non-Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid an hourly pay rate, on a bi-weekly basis, and are eligible to receive overtime pay for any hours worked over 40 in a work week.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Coordinates and maintains the integrity of the animal records system (ARS.) Maintains data in the online computer system. Researches and obtains required information from departments to ensure complete and accurate diagnosis and treatment of animals. Runs programs to determine optimal billing reimbursement to the Center. Reconciles colony population demographics with the billing system using per diem rates compiled by guidelines issued by the federal government. Monitors Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) and billing assignment records. Abstracts and enters data from clincial and experimental records. Generates reports. Maintains required record-keeping. Assists in the orientation and training of staff. Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma and five years of relevant work experience. |
