JOB DESCRIPTION: Develops and executes strategies for qualifying, cultivating, and successfully soliciting individuals for gifts at the leadership annual giving level and referring mid/major gift prospects to appropriate school and unit colleagues. Coordinates solicitation and stewardship strategies with centralized efforts lead by Annual Giving and Donor Relations. Manages a portfolio of prospects through an active schedule of qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship communications with portfolio entities. Builds 1:1 relationship with current and prospective donors, alumni, and volunteers to support programs and institutional priorities. Builds collaborative relationships with Directors of Development in schools and units based for pipeline building and major gift referrals ($100k+). Manages incoming referrals from school and unit colleagues for the purpose of qualification or portfolio management for leadership annual gift prospects disqualified for current major gift classification. Writes and edits communication materials directed at donors. Develops strategies for marketing new and existing programs. Maintains information on selected donors and prospects including activity reports in CRM system. Leverages technology stack to execute times and strategic donor communications and outreach. Communicates in ways that are donor-centric, while furthering the mission of Emory. May travel to meet with donors as needed. Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree and four years of experience in fundraising, or related field.
