JOB DESCRIPTION: Reviews and develops policy relating to program initiatives and institutes strategic plans. Develops and implements strategies for media relations, publications, and community relations programs in support of image enhancement. Acts as spokesperson for the organization. Develops and oversees communication efforts for specific programs and overall institution building efforts. Manages a budget and a staff. May be responsible for managing various aspects of social media activities. Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree in journalism, communications or related field. Seven years of related experience which includes three years in a communications or public relations position. |
