*This is an Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid a salary on a monthly basis and are not eligible to receive overtime pay.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Creates, maintains, and enhances the relationship between the alumni and the University and among alumni themselves. Executes strategies to recruit, cultivate, and engage alumni through events, programs, and services both locally and nationally. Supports annual events to strengthen ties with the University such as Homecoming and Family Weekend, assembly meetings and class reunions. Develops alumni clubs and programs and assists them in planning and implementing events. Monitors program budget. May manage event budgets. Performs related responsibilities as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in public relations or related field and two years of alumni engagement, event planning, public relations or other related experience, OR an equivalent combination of experience, education and/or training. Effective public speaking skills. |
