*This is an Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid a salary on a monthly basis and are not eligible to receive overtime pay.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Oversees cash management and reconciliation processes performed by other staff accountants. Manages relationships with Emory financial partners to include the Controller's Office, University's banking institution, school and unit business and advancement offices, and vendors to ensure the integrity of the data and financial information and customer expectations are met. Collaborates with various departments to develop and enhance technology plans and strategies for continuous improvement in workflow, process efficiencies, and best practices. Provides technical support, guidance and direction for the development, implementation and maintenance of complex operational projects. Supports senior management with budgeting and resource planning. Produces monthly financial reports to management. Hires, manages, develops, and motivates a team of professional staff. Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree and four years of related accounting experience OR an equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training. |
