*This is an Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid a salary on a monthly basis and are not eligible to receive overtime pay.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for quality control and assurance by auditing and validating gift details to ensure that gifts are processed according to the donor's intent, IRS guidelines, departmental and University policies and procedures. Oversees and approves the gift and biographical information performed by other staff for posting in the donor database and to the University Financial system. Manages relationships with Emory financial partners to include the Controller's Office, University's banking institution, school and unit business and advancement offices, and vendors to ensure the integrity of the data and financial information and customer expectations are met. Collaborates with various departments to develop and enhance technology plans and strategies for continuous improvement in workflow, process efficiencies, and best practices. Provides technical support, guidance and direction for the development, implementation and maintenance of complex operational projects. Produces weekly operational and performance metrics reports to management for resource planning, staff training, and development. Hires, manages, develops, and motivates a team of professional staff. Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree and four years of experience in accounting, finance, or business operations OR an equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training.
