JOB DESCRIPTION: Designs, develops and implements strategic fundraising strategy to meet increasing fundraising goals for capital, clinical programs, medical research, recruitment, retention, endowment and special projects. Oversees and provides guidance to frontline fundraisers and special events staff. Secures support from individuals, foundations and corporations. Works with and manages Advisory Board relationships and goals. Cultivates relationships among potential donors to support programs and priorities and with faculty and leadership to assist in presenting needs to prospects. Develops targeted fundraising campaigns within identified framework. Interprets faculty needs internally and externally to request clearance, determine fundraising plan and increase support. Directs events or receptions to cultivate prospects and steward donors. Develops short- and long-term goals and objectives. Plans and directs communications. Coordinates public relations, the generation of departmental budgets and publications/proposals. Assists in developing and interpreting priorities of the executive director and faculty. Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree and ten years of experience in fundraising with staff management experience.
