JOB DESCRIPTION: Designs and implements annual giving solicitation and stewardship plans, marketing and volunteer fundraiser toolkits, and other communication materials that support divisional annual giving revenue, donor participation, and donor pipeline goals. Determines goals, strategies, and target audiences for solicitations. Oversees solicitations that may include direct mail, donor and volunteer engagement, phone and text solicitation, and digital fundraising (e.g. crowdfunding, email, and organic social posts). Acts as a strategic partner for a subset of Emory's schools and units to identify and implement fundraising campaigns for priority programs. Reviews content development for annual giving programs and solicitations. Ensures messaging is consistent with campaign strategies and customized for segmented audiences. Requests and approves audience data and merge fields for solicitations. Manages annual giving campaign and appeal records in Emory's CRM, analyzes results, and produces reports. Implements annual giving strategies based on data-driven analyses, industry trends, and innovative pilot tactics. Provides customer service for annual giving inquiries and conducts personal outreach to annual giving donors when needed. Follows annual giving policies and business practices. May manage a board and engage volunteers for annual giving programs. May supervise student interns who implement specific giving programs. Performs other duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree and three years' experience in fundraising, marketing, non-profits, or related field OR an equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training.
