*This is a Non-Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid an hourly pay rate, on a bi-weekly basis, and are eligible to receive overtime pay for any hours worked over 40 in a work week.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Performs custodial responsibilities such as general cleaning, trash removal, light floor care and special events/room set ups. Cleans walkways, steps, and mats. Cleans floors with vacuum, dust mop, and wet mop. Cleans assigned areas including furniture, telephones, fixtures, walls, windows, window sills, blinds, and vents. Uses appropriate cleaning solutions for assigned task. Sets up for events by arranging chairs, tables, podiums, or other furnishings based on a design layout. Maintains adequate supplies in bathrooms and supply closets. Collects and removes trash and recyclables. May dispose of hazardous waste. Uses cleaning materials and equipment as instructed and maintains an adequate stock of supplies. Knows and adheres to federal and state safety regulations. Adheres to all PPE requirements. May drive fleet vehicles and be responsible for the daily inspections and safe operations. May provide coaching, onboarding, and training support to others. Performs other related duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to understand and follow communicated instructions, and one year of custodial work experience. May require the ability to lift 50 pounds and to bend, stoop, twist, and walk up to 2 miles per day. May require a valid Georgia driver's license and insurable driving record. Internal candidates must be current with all custodial training requirements. External candidates have six months to complete all training.
