*This is a Non-Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid an hourly pay rate, on a bi-weekly basis, and are eligible to receive overtime pay for any hours worked over 40 in a work week.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Cleans and maintains various floors surfaces. This includes carpet, wood, marble, vinyl, vct, stone, tile, slate etc. Is capable of operating various cleaning machines and power equipment. Knows and adheres to federal and state safety regulations. Adheres to all PPE requirements. May drive fleet vehicles and be responsible for the daily inspections and safe operations. Could also be assigned primary duties of the Custodian II position. Performs related duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to understand and follow communicated instructions, and three years of custodial work experience. May require the ability to lift 50 pounds and to bend, stoop, twist, and walk up to 2 miles per day. May require a valid Georgia driver's license and insurable driving record. Floor care experience and/or certification is preferred, but not required. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. |
