*This is a Non-Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid an hourly pay rate, on a bi-weekly basis, and are eligible to receive overtime pay for any hours worked over 40 in a work week.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The External Services Technician reports directly to the O&M (Operations & Maintenance) External Maintenance Supervisor. Responsible for daily activities including pressure washing and various refresh activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Operates pressure washing equipment to clean surfaces such as driveways, buildings, sidewalks, decks, vehicles, and machinery. Pre-treats and rinses surfaces with appropriate cleaning solutions. Inspects and prepares work areas to ensure safety and protection of surrounding property. Maintains and performs basic repairs on pressure washing equipment and tools. Follows all safety guidelines, including use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Communicates with supervisor about work progress, surface conditions, and completion timelines. Disposes of waste materials in accordance with environmental and company regulations. Reports any damage, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards immediately. Performs other related duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A high school degree or equivalent (GED), and three years of related experience, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Prior experience in pressure washing, janitorial, or maintenance work is preferred. Ability to operate and maintain power washing equipment safely and effectively. May require the ability to lift 50 lbs. and work for extended periods in outdoor environments. Positions in this classification may require a valid Georgia driver's license and an insurable driving record. |
