*This is a Non-Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid an hourly pay rate, on a bi-weekly basis, and are eligible to receive overtime pay for any hours worked over 40 in a work week.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Performs all responsibilities of the Maintenance Mechanic II role. In addition to Mechanic II responsibilities, participates in the onboarding and training of all staff. Provides guidance to staff to ensure work orders are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Assigns and schedules work. Operates and maintains building facilities, systems and equipment related to plumbing, electricity, HVAC, and steam control. Operates and maintains building equipment and systems such as vacuum systems, control air systems, building air systems, emergency generators, electrical distribution systems, liquid pumping systems, steam, air handling systems, hot/cold water systems and natural gas and fuel oil systems. Performs related duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma and three years of experience in building maintenance, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Working knowledge of commercial HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural, and general carpentry. Working knowledge of computer or mobile applications. Ability to conduct hands-on training for others. Positions in this classification may require a valid Georgia driver's license and an insurable driving record. Some positions within this classification may require the ability to lift 50 pounds and to bend, stoop, twist, climb a ladder, and walk for distances up to one mile.
