*This is a Non-Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid an hourly pay rate, on a bi-weekly basis, and are eligible to receive overtime pay for any hours worked over 40 in a work week.

JOB DESCRIPTION: ** This is a central Human Resources position only ** Administers pre-employment processing for assigned recruiter hires, including but not limited to, set-up and monitoring of the progress and completion of criminal and education background checks, employment reference checks, drug screening, motor vehicle records, and health assessments. Supports assigned recruiting team members with the communication of internal and external inquiries concerning applicant and pre-employment status updates, procedures, and scheduling via phone, email, and/or in person. Ensures accuracy and compliance of new hire files and develops and participates in overall QA/QI measures for new hire files. Processes transactions though the Emory Express order system. Handles candidate travel arrangements as needed. Ensures compliance with departmental and university established guidelines, policies, and procedures. Coordinates and schedules meetings, interviews, appointments and special events related to Recruiting efforts or department functions. Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Two years of college and one year of experience in human resources or recruiting or related field, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. A bachelor's degree is preferred. Experience with Peoplesoft, iCIMS or other HR/ATS systems is preferred. |
