*This is a Non-Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid an hourly pay rate, on a bi-weekly basis, and are eligible to receive overtime pay for any hours worked over 40 in a work week.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Provides complex electronic classroom support through a variety of methods which may include digitization of materials (text, images, audio, and/or video) to meet the needs of instructors and researchers. Recommends electronic delivery options for various forms of content based on stated needs. Troubleshoots and supports hardware and software problems that interfere with the creation and/or delivery of content. May consult with faculty on different approaches to content based on their goals for instructional use or research. Maintains a working knowledge of current and emerging modes of digitizing text, images and video for delivery via the Internet. May hire train and supervise student and temporary employees. Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Two years of college coursework and one year of multimedia experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Experience in an instructional technology setting preferred. |
