JOB DESCRIPTION: ** This is a central university position** The Enterprise Messaging Systems Administrator II provides technical support for management of multiple messaging services for Emory University and Emory Healthcare enterprises. Maintains a thorough understanding of Emory policies and mail infrastructures. Provides exemplary customer service, meets service level agreements, and concentrates on continual active improvements for messaging services including research, planning, and assistance with the implementation of service upgrades and migrations. Provides daily support for customer needs and service issues to maintain functionality for the various services that the Messaging team supports. Additionally, this position utilizes the IT Service Management System to review and act on requests/incidents that arise from outages and configuration issues, facilitates training, creates and maintains knowledge materials, and provides messaging team backup support and project contributions. Contributes to innovations for improving and expanding service offerings. Reports to the Supervisor, Messaging Incident Management. Performs other duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma or equivalent, and three years of IT work experience, OR equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience. SharePoint and other O365 application knowledge and/or certifications is preferred. |
