*This is an Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid a salary on a monthly basis and are not eligible to receive overtime pay.

JOB DESCRIPTION: *** Position only used in the direct management of enterprise-wide PeopleSoft, Human Resources, student and financial systems. *** Leads efforts to ensure that the Enterprise PeopleSoft systems and third party integrated systems support departmental objectives and information management needs. Manages, from a client business perspective, related systems projects. Promotes and directs new functionality or applications through collaboration with University departments. Analyzes business processes, procedures and functions, organizational structures, data collection methods and workflow and audit requirements to determine areas of improvement in processes and system functionality. Supports the federal reporting and strategic planning needs of the University and its departments. Designs, configures, develops, tests and implements approved applications using delivered PeopleSoft tools and functionality including, but not limited to, PS Query, Excel to CI, BI Publisher and Comm Gen. Leads testing of regular system updates and corrects functional problems and deficiencies. Troubleshoots systems issues enterprise-wide. Develops functional requirements and specifications for enhancements and system modifications with business owners and the Library and Information Technology Division. Ensures a high level of client satisfaction by monitoring the delivery of ongoing information systems to the enterprise. Mentors staff in businesses supported. Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree and seven years of PeopleSoft or related systems experience OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. May supervise staff.
