*This is a Non-Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid an hourly pay rate, on a bi-weekly basis, and are eligible to receive overtime pay for any hours worked over 40 in a work week.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Library Services Specialist assists with supporting patron services and managing library resources to benefit the academic community. Under direct supervision, this entry-level position may be responsible for some or a combination of the following tasks: assisting with routine library activities, acquiring resources, managing inventory, offering research assistance, maintaining and organizing collections, overseeing access points, processing orders, and supporting special events. Additional possible duties include providing support to faculty, staff, students, and other users; ensuring prompt and effective service; maintaining library stacks; assisting with reserves; and contributing to outreach and ongoing improvement efforts.
Performs other related duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree in a related field, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. |
