*This is a Non-Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid an hourly pay rate, on a bi-weekly basis, and are eligible to receive overtime pay for any hours worked over 40 in a work week.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Senior Library Services Specialist provides patron services and manages library resources to advance the academic community's goals. With limited supervision, this position may be responsible for some or a combination of the following duties: coordinating daily library operations, managing orders and acquisitions for physical and digital materials, performing advanced cataloging and serials management, maintaining bibliographic records and stacks, and overseeing reserves. This role may also entail collaborating with vendors, selectors, and internal teams to ensure resource accessibility and compliance; resolving claims; reviewing library documentation for accuracy; supporting improvement and strategic initiatives; maintaining precise records; supervising student staff; providing direct assistance to patrons and faculty; and ensuring compliance with copyright and resource access policies.
Performs other related duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree and two years of related experience, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. |
