JOB DESCRIPTION: Works on complex research challenges within the Emory Institute for Drug Development (EIDD) or the Liotta Research Group (LRG). Engages in the design, synthesis, process optimization, and assessment of novel therapeutic agents that meet key development objectives and milestones. Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. OR M.D. OR master's degree and two years of chemistry, lab research, or related experience OR bachelor's degree and four years of chemistry, lab research, or related experience. The ability to evaluate complex systems and apply substantive knowledge of medicinal chemistry and modern drug discovery workflow to effectively design experiments and analyze data.
