*This is an Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid a salary on a monthly basis and are not eligible to receive overtime pay.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Manages the development and delivery of student academic services programs to students and departmental faculty and staff in a large college or division. Interprets division policies and procedures for division staff and other university administrators. Develops, designs and implements student academic services in conjunction with department and faculty administrators. May advise students of graduation requirements. Develops the content of communications materials to enhance student, staff and faculty awareness of services offered. Responds to inquiries from students, faculty, staff and parents and determines the appropriate resolution to their concerns. Represents the department at meetings. Assesses the effectiveness of office procedures to ensure department is meeting service goals and recommends changes when appropriate. Hires and supervises student employees. Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in a field related to the department's area of specialty or other related field. Five years of experience related to student admissions, financial aid, registration or a related field. Experience with various personal computer software packages.
