JOB DESCRIPTION: Reporting to the Associate Dean of MBA Career Services, assists in the development of the overall Career Management Center (CMC) vision, strategy and planning and is responsible for the strategy and execution of the full-time MBA CMC. Manages the Goizueta Business School's CMC Full Time Program including student advising and employer relationship management. Develops and executes the overall student advising strategy and planning process which includes pre-orientation student requirements and responsibilities and the overall education and career guidance of students while on campus. Is responsible for delivering career advising services and managing career advising resources. Maximizes student opportunities and company engagement with students and school. Develops relationships with recruiters and alumni, where applicable. Works closely with Director of Programming and Operations, Director of Recruiting and Director of Working Professionals MBA to ensure coordination and smooth delivery of company and student experience. Ensures communication and coordination with the program office regarding student outreach, communication and event planning. Drives the marketing message of the CMC and is actively involved in the development, dissemination and evaluation of the department's strategy to stakeholders, including alumni, students and the business community. Represents Goizueta at various internal and external functions. Prepares statistical reports. Develops, implements and evaluates surveys. Ensures appropriate resources are available for use of web, software and other IT support. Selects and hires contractors, as necessary. Hires, supervises and evaluates a staff and provides leadership to the student advising and account manager teams. Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field and five years of career counseling, business development, academic administration, or related experience OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Experience in a lead or supervisory role. A MBA is strongly preferred.
