*This is an Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid a salary on a monthly basis and are not eligible to receive overtime pay.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Coordinates public health activities for the Task Force for Global Health, including surveillance, epidemiology, prevention and control, and outreach activities within countries. Coordinates activities designed to address the public health issue, identify resources and partnerships, and collaborate with stakeholders. Researches factors that may impact the success of a public health program including gathering input from stakeholders and target audiences in the field. Maintains a surveillance system where appropriate, to gather information on the public health area. Analyzes trends and makes subsequent recommendations for changes in program policy. Provides technical advice, consultation and training on administrative and logistical aspects of disease intelligence, individual elements of surveillance systems, staffing, and training needs. Participates in the development of strategies aimed at identification, analysis, and resolution of problems impacting program. Reports to leadership on the status of the public health issue. Assists in developing grant proposals. Performs other related duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A master's degree in public health from an accredited school, and one year of related experience, which could be classified as fellowships, internships, research assistantships, or part-time research activities.
