Teaching Your Child Responsibility

Children can learn to become responsible adults. In this seminar you will review the characteristics of a responsible child- from accountability to fulfilling obligations. You will then discuss the importance of effective feedback, appropriate rewards, and other steps to raising a responsible child. You will explore the role of self-esteem in the process and the negative impact of using guilt and arbitrary rules. There is an emphasis on the parents' role in shaping responsible behavior.
