12:00 PM - 1:30 PM
Claudia Nance Rollins Building
Room 1000
Student bullying in schools is a major concern.  In fact, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has identified bullying as a major health concern.  However, the “village” as a whole, including school staff, parents, relatives and community members, must accept responsibility for its perpetuation and reduction.  All parents must have an “awareness” of the concern and take professional and/or personal responsibility to model appropriate behavior, talk to and teach our children and take appropriate action if this type of behavior occurs.
