*This is an Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid a salary on a monthly basis and are not eligible to receive overtime pay.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Conceptualizes and develops proactive prospect research methodologies. Identifies prospects by manipulating databases. Prepares comprehensive research reports on individuals, corporations and foundations. Supports and participates in prospect management activities. Keeps abreast of appropriate fund raising strategies and various options for planned giving such as trusts, bequests, and pooled income funds. Organizes and analyzes information to identify philanthropic patterns, tendencies and relationships among individuals, corporations, and foundations. Keeps abreast of and effectively utilizes resources at hand such as government documents, SEC filings, deeds and property tax assessment records, and legal documents such as wills and charitable trusts. Develops and generates reports that support planning and decision-making. Accurately and appropriately responds to requests for information. Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree in a related field. Five years of development research or other related experience.
