*This is an Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid a salary on a monthly basis and are not eligible to receive overtime pay.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Manages all Development Operations for major gift fundraising staff for a school or unit. Responsible for donor stewardship for endowment reporting and major gift expendable reporting. Manages donor acknowledgement letters and general stewardship correspondence. Provides operational support for advisory and alumni boards. Manages data collection support for constituent activities. Manages departmental budget. Acts as a liaison to central development offices, and admissions and finance offices. Ad hoc reporting and may manage operational support staff. This position requires a self starter who is able to work with ambiguity, be a collegial and collaborative partner with school and central development offices. Demonstrates confidence and poise in interactions with all donors, volunteers, faculty, and staff.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree and five years of administrative, management, or development experience. Campaign experience preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Proficiency in fundraising reporting and counting. Strong database technology and project management skills preferred.
