*This is an Exempt position. Employees in this position are paid a salary on a monthly basis and are not eligible to receive overtime pay.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Oversees the design and development of training and development activities and programs for a business unit. Uses instructional design methodology to develop training, job aids, and other learning materials. Serves as leader of internal training, conducts training classes, and leads structured facilitated programs. Leads training courses of various topics such as, but not limited to: orientation, basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook), and defensive driving. Designs web-based training for use in learning management systems (LMS). Serves as program coach for employee development programs. Collaborates with peers and managers to develop, implement, and monitor learning solutions. Solicits feedback on the effectiveness of training programs and implements appropriate changes. Helps coordinate scheduling of training classes and instructors. Develops and maintains communication materials and information, both internal and external to the organization, including newsletters, brochures, information packets, and articles. Performs related responsibilities as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree in education, human resources, communications or a related field and three years of professional training/teaching experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Proficient in publishing and photo-editing software is preferred.
